7. Cellular receptors and intracellular mechanisms.
  A receptor is the lock on the door that allows hormones and drugs can get into the cell. Members have carefully documented differences between receptors in the heart and in other tissues, and the correlation of the development of receptors and other post receptor mechanisms in the developing heart.
